The consortium involves partners from 6 countries, including research and development organisations that complement each other with respect to the scientific and technical expertise necessary to achieve the project goals.
Key beneficiaries of the envisaged technologies are involved in the project both in terms of SMEs who will exploit the resulting technology and in terms of key stakeholders in the case studies. The consortium members were carefully selected to provide the necessary knowledge in all required fields of expertise (ie., expertise in the fields of sensor technologies, modelling, networks and integration as well as collective intelligence andsocial innovation) and to enable the effective exploitation of results. On the research and development side, the consortium includes both academic and industrial partners with strong experience in producing innovative research results and exploiting them in real-world applications. The stakeholder partners have extensive knowledge of concrete scenarios in the three case studies which would benefit from the proposed research.
